The (Richard) X Factor
Two of my favourites, Richard X and Saint Etienne, have come together for Etienne’s greatest hits collection- “Method of Modern Love.” And it is near perfect!! Which kinda shocks me because the X man’s output as of late(production for Annie and Roisin Murphy) have not been up to par. I am really into his usual remix/pt. 2 he does of songs he produces, and the “Join Our Clique” remix of Saint Etienne is no exception. It is great to hear Saint Etienne do something so late 2009s and still the same shimmery disco adult euro-pop stoner house music they have been doing for nearly 20(!) years now.
