Has Anyone Seen These Children of God?
I have no idea where they are now or what they have been up to (well the former 1st lady of the ROC is putting out a new cd…but I refuse to comment based on how bad the new output has been, and how overdue as well…)

I have been jamming these two jams as of lately, and its like the 1st half of the 00’s all over again.
At my 22nd birthday at Lucky Cheng’s last week, I saw a drag queen perform “Stranger in My House” by Tamia. I think I have now seen at least 15 drag queens do this song, and all of them have been to the Thunderpuss remix, which is better than the lame orginal. And Tamia has been hanging out in Deborah Cox land as of recently, this song is gay joy at its best.

Bizzarely, I just bought (used) Teairra Marie’s debut cd from way back when. It is pretty good, but it should be, it has Sean Garrett on nearly every track. And he has most of the production credits to himself, which is a rarity for him. One of the standout tracks of the album is from him as well. “La La” is truely sickening. The beat doesn’t overwhelm, but the production is just enough to make you forget why she was the 1st lady of the ROC for about 9 months…
