Stuck On Repeat
Tonight is the Brooklyn debut of UK artist Little Boots. She has only put out a small handful of tracks, and is putting together a feature LP with Greg Kurstin, but is very much set to become the next (insert here once-favourite hipster beast). Hype aside, she is very good. Dunno why, but there is a quality to her voice that reminds me of what a younger Allison Goldfrapp would have sounded like had she been actively making music. I can not wait to go to her live show tonight. I have watched some of her footage on YouTube, and she should put on a good show, or as good as a show one can put together at the poor designed Studio B.
