For some reason, the general public has not been kind to Mariah’s latest “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.” As a lamb, I find it to be genius, and her best work since “Butterfly,” by that is a different story… Recently leaked is the hip-hop remix to the next NEXT single of “H.A.T.E.U.” by non other than Jermaine Dupri. This is without a doubt her best hip-hop remix of since moving to Island Def Jam (find me a better hip-hop remix pre-“Glitter”). While the original version of the song does not seem to be radio friendly, and a poor choice of a single (although there aren’t really singles on this album), here’s hoping the remix will do what it needs to do, because a #3 album debut is not good enough for Mimi! The remix even name checks “My All!”
