Summer Jams ‘09
I know I haven’t been updating a lot lately, been busy with finals and what not (I walk Thursday!!!) So, I’m going to post what I have been busy listening to and jamming out to this summer (besides “When Love Takes Over”).
Christina Millian Feat. Kanye West - “Diamonds” (Demo) Its the same song that Teairra Marie did, but this this Millian’s original, and by far, better, version, mainly because it’s Milian with the voice.
Dragonette- “Fixin’ To Thrill” I am so happy that Dragonette is back, after their 1st CD peaked at #198 (no, really) on the charts in the UK. Their new single is more of the same (but with them, thats a very good thing). The video is cute too! This time they should hopefully peak within the UK Top 100!
Lady GaGa- “Retro Dance Freak” This recently came out as the JPN Bonus Track for “the Fame.” It doesn’t sound like most of her work, but still sounds very Lady Gaga (she is more talented than I liked to give her credit for). The song is chill, and a nice anthesis to summer ‘08 theme song, “Just Dance.”
Mariah Carey- “Make It Happen” (Dub)I found this at one of my favourite blogs ever, Patent Leather Daddy, and this remix is INSANE. Its very 90’s balls to the wall house, and back when Mimi could really sing, which almost makes me sad, but this remix makes me VERY happy!
Danity Kane- “Want It” Because I never get tired of singing “Back Up! I Need 50 Feet!”
